AAHPERD Teacher of the Year Awards
Sponsored awards by AAHPERD are given to members of MNAHPERD and AAHPERD who demonstrate exemplary teaching abilities of respective grade levels and disciplines:
- Elementary Teacher of the Year: National Association of Sport and Physical Education (NASPE)
- Middle School Teacher of the Year: National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE)
- Secondary Teacher of the Year: National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE)
- Dance Teacher of the Year: National Dance Association (NDA)
- Health Teacher of the Year: American Association of Health Education (AAHE)
- DAPE Teacher of the Year
- Pathfinder: Honor and recognize the outstanding services and contributions in girls’ and women’s sports by a physical educator who is also a member of AAHPERD.
