2012 Winter PE Workshops

The Minnesota Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (MNAHPERD) is hosting its annual winter workshops, The workshop is free for MNAHPERD members. If you are not a MNAHPERD member, please visit the MNAHPERD website and fill out a membership form. Membership fee is $30.00. Memberships will be verified at all workshops. www.mnahperd.org
The workshop will feature 3 sessions in 45 minute blocks. The sessions will focus on integrating engaging movement activities - into PE lessons. CEU’s will be available.
8:00-8:30 - Registration
1. 8:30-9:15 - Session I
2. 9:15-10:00 - Session II
3. 10:00-10:45 - Session III
4. 10:45 - 11:00 - Audience Sharing Q&A
5. 11:00 pm - Adjourn - Certificates of Attendance
The purpose of this workshop is to provide a meaningful Physical Education activities and games. Sessions will be led by presenters who have put these lessons into practice and have used them in their classroom s for years. The games and activities are moderate to vigorously active. Children focus and learn better when in an enriched environment. This has been demonstrated by clinical and educational research.
